Accurate Collection & Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete collection and delivery details at the time of booking, including names, addresses, contact numbers, and any special delivery instructions.
Mountain Courier Services cannot be held responsible for delays, failed collections, or unsuccessful deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.

Packaging Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items are securely packaged and appropriately labelled before collection. Mountain Courier Services accepts no liability for loss or damage caused by inadequate or unsuitable packaging.

Prohibited & Restricted Items
Unless agreed in writing prior to collection, Mountain Courier Services does not transport:

• Hazardous or dangerous goods
• Illegal or prohibited items
• Cash or negotiable instruments
• Firearms or ammunition
• Perishable goods requiring temperature-controlled transport
• Any item requiring specialist handling

We reserve the right to refuse the transportation of any item deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

Delivery Timeframes
We offer Same-Day, Next-Day, and Two-Day delivery services throughout the United Kingdom. While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery times, these are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic ccongestion, road closures, adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen events.

Insurance & Liability
Mountain Courier Services maintains comprehensive motor fleet insurance, including Goods-in-Transitc over for eligible consignments.

Where customers are shipping exceptionally high-value goods, additional insurance may be arranged upon request prior to collection. Customers are advised to declare the value of such items when making a booking.

Our liability shall be limited to the level of cover provided under our Goods-in-Transit insurance unless other wise agreed in writing.

Failed or Missed Deliveries
If the recipient is unavailable at the delivery address, our driver may:

• Leave the parcel in a safe place where authorised;
• Deliver the parcel to a nominated neighbour where appropriate; or
• Return the parcel for re-delivery.

Any additional delivery attempts or returns may incur further charges.

Cancellations

• Same-Day Delivery bookings cancelled within one hour of the scheduled collection time may be subject to the full delivery charge.
• Next-Day Delivery bookings cancelled after 4:00 pm on the working day prior to collection may also be charged in full.

Cancellation charges are applied to recover costs already incurred.

Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of booking unless a credit account has been agreed in writing.

Approved business customers may be offered account facilities and agreed payment terms, subject to credit approval.

Where applicable, additional charges such as ferry crossings, toll roads, congestion charges, Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charges, or similar statutory road user charges will be added where no reasonable alternative route is available.

Data Protection
Mountain Courier Services is committed to protecting your personal information. All customer data is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Customer information is used solely for the purpose of providing our courier services and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary to fulfil the delivery.
